This device only has partial integration at the moment. Partial integration means that measurements captured by the device are not sent to the Kordeus server. Instead, they can be saved to a shared network drive, from where they can be uploaded to Kordeus Documentation Forms, as if they were on a local disc or an USB stick connected to a computer from which Kordeus is accessed. The only requirement is that the both computers are in the same network as the file server which exposes the shared network drive.

Canon CR-2 AF fundus camera is connected to a computer which runs proprietary software (RX Capture Software) for displaying the captures. The software has an option to save images to a folder. However, the default settings expect that the destination folder is “L:\” folder.

Currently no settings which would enable changing the destination folder are exposed to the user.

To circumvent this issue, the user who has access to fundus camera computer needs to map the “L:\” directory to a shared network drive.

Follow Map a network drive instructions to set it up.

Required settings:
<drive> = L:
<folder> = \\10.10.1.9\IROC-Oeffentlich\IROC Themen\07_Messungen\Fundusfoto

How to import images to Kordeus

In the Report section of the RX Capture software, click on Output button and then click OK. The image will be saved to the mapped network drive.

On the computer where Kordeus is used, map the measurements folder as a network drive. This has to be done only once, if it has not been done already.

Follow Map a network drive instructions to set it up.

Required settings:
<drive> = any available drive
<folder> = \\10.10.1.9\IROC-Oeffentlich\IROC Themen\07_Messungen

In Funfusfoto tab in Kordeus Documentation form, click on upload file button, navigate to the mapped Measurements folder and find the uploaded files, select them and confirm.
