Contracts administration application allows administrators to manage airline carriers within the system.

It ensures that each airline’s operational, medical, and digital setup is correctly configured so that Special Assistance Requests (SARs) can be processed reliably and in compliance with airline-specific rules.

This module supports:

•Maintaining an accurate carrier database

•Managing service availability per airline

•Defining aircraft-related service restrictions

•Managing digital connectivity (B-Op integration)

•Supporting Medical Operation Center (MOC) partnerships

Why This Module Is Important

The Carrier Management module ensures that:

•Service logic aligns with airline capabilities

•Technical restrictions are respected

•Medical workflows are correctly assigned

•Digital integrations function properly

•Operational errors are prevented early

It acts as a foundational configuration layer that influences:

•Portal request logic

•SARA approval workflows

•Service Delivery orchestration

•Telex generation

•Billing and reporting accuracy

Carrier Overview Screen

The overview screen provides a structured list of all configured airline carriers.

What users can see

A table listing all airlines with the following information:

Airline Name (including logo if uploaded)

B-Op Connection active (Yes / No)

(Note: IATA and ICAO codes are maintained in the carrier detail screen and are searchable even if not displayed in this list view.)

What users can do

➕ Add New Carrier

A clearly visible “Add new” button allows administrators to create a new airline entry.

🔍 Search

A search field allows filtering carriers by:

•Airline name

•IATA code

•ICAO code

✏️ Edit Carrier

Clicking a carrier opens the detailed configuration screen.

❌ Delete Carrier (Optional)

A carrier can be removed unless:

•It is configured as an authoritative MOC partner.

•It is actively connected in a digital integration.

General Information

This section defines the basic airline data.

Field Description

Airline Name Official name of the airline

IATA Code 2-character airline code

ICAO Code 3-character airline code

Upload Logo Upload airline logo (PNG, JPG, SVG supported)

Validation:

•Airline name, IATA, and ICAO are mandatory.

•Logo must be a valid image format.

•Error messages are displayed if required fields are missing.

Carrier Brands

The Carrier Brands section allows administrators to define which airline brands are adopted or operated under a specific contractor (carrier entity).

This is particularly relevant in airline group structures (e.g., Lufthansa Group), where multiple commercial brands may operate under one operational or medical authority.

Adopted Travel Carrier Brands

This screen displays a structured list of airline brands that are linked to the selected contractor.

What users can see

A table including:

Column Description

Brand Name Official commercial airline brand name (e.g., SWISS Airlines, Discover)

IATA 2-letter airline code

ICAO 3-letter airline code

Link Indicator Visual indicator showing that the brand is linked to this contractor

Selection Indicator Checkmark indicates active adoption

What this means operationally

When a brand is adopted:

•Requests under that brand are processed under this contractor’s configuration.

•Service exclusion rules of the contractor apply.

•Digital connectivity and MOC authority settings are inherited.

Visual Indicators

•✔ Checkmark → Brand is actively adopted.

•🔗 Link icon → Brand relationship is configured.

•No indicator → Brand is not active under this contractor.
